FALCON RUN SUBDIVISION, ROLLESTON

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Ongrade Drainage & Excavation has been engaged by Your Section to deliver extensive civil and underground infrastructure works across multiple stages of the Falcons Run residential subdivision.

Stages 1–5

  • Comprehensive site clearance, including demolition and removal of existing dwellings, garages, farm structures, septic systems, boreholes, driveways, and associated services across the development footprint.
  • Removal of hundreds of metres of existing trees, vegetation, and shelter belts, including stump removal and root raking to enable subdivision earthworks and infrastructure installation.
  • Bulk earthworks exceeding 30,000m³ of topsoil stripping, including extensive cut to fill operations, engineered fill placement, and final shaping of residential lots, roads, and reserves.
  • Installation of wastewater infrastructure including approximately 2,685m of sewer mains, comprising internal subdivision networks and significant off-site works along Lincoln Rolleston Road.
  • Construction of approximately 1,200m of 100mm PVC sewer laterals, connecting residential lots and external tie-ins to the main sewer network.
  • Installation of multiple benched manholes, including deep sewer installations, with full testing and commissioning.
  • Construction of a comprehensive stormwater network including sumps, manholes, large-scale soakage pits, and associated pipework servicing staged residential development.
  • Installation of potable water infrastructure including over 4,000m of water mains, together with property connections, valves, and associated fittings.
  • Construction of internal roading including over 8,000m² of roading, multiple pavement layers, asphalt surfacing, and more than 1,500m of kerb and channel, along with footpaths, pedestrian crossings, and vehicle crossings.
  • Significant external and interface works along Lincoln Rolleston Road, including road upgrades, drainage works, traffic management, and construction of a new roundabout providing primary access to the development.

Stages 6–10

  • Further site clearance works including removal of remaining trees, shelter belts, and redundant farm infrastructure within subsequent development stages.
  • Extension of wastewater infrastructure including approximately 900m of additional sewer mains and approximately 700m of sewer laterals, expanding the network to service later stages of the subdivision.
  • Installation of additional manholes, testing, and connections to the existing wastewater network.
  • Extension of potable water infrastructure including approximately 3,000m of additional water mains, property connections, and network fittings.
  • Expansion of stormwater infrastructure including additional soakage systems, sumps, and manholes integrated into the wider subdivision network.
  • Construction of additional internal roading, kerb and channel, footpaths, and vehicle crossings to support the staged release of further residential lots.
  • Completion of all testing, as-built documentation, and compliance works in accordance with local authority requirements.
